Here’s a straightforward, professional wiring guide (using a DC controller as an example; always check your system wiring diagram):

Wiring Section Description & Instructions
1.DC Input Side
(Solar Panels)
Connect the positive and negative wires from your solar panels to the controller's DC IN "P+" and "P-" terminals. Always use a multimeter to check the open-circuit voltage (Voc) before wiring to make sure it doesn't exceed the controller’s max limit—otherwise, you’ll permanently fry the unit! Also, avoid complex parallel solar panel wiring setups when possible.
2.Pump Output Side
(Motor)
Connect the three motor wires (U, V, W) to the corresponding OUTPUT terminals on the controller. If the pump runs in reverse due to wrong wiring order, just shut off power and swap any two wires to fix the spin direction.
3.Sensor Ports
(Optional)
If you need auto-shutoff when a stock tank or off-grid water storage tank is full—or dry-run protection for your well—plug your float switch or water sensor signal lines into the TANK and WELL ports.

⚠️ Critical Safety Tips:

  • NEVER wire anything while the power is on!
  • NEVER hook solar panels directly to the pump without a controller to test it—you’ll blow it instantly!
  • The pump and controller must be properly grounded. For AC input models (R, S, T), use a 3-phase 4-wire power supply; missing a phase will stall the motor.
